The Love Bug.....

There are many forms of love out there. I have experienced some forms of it. I have expereinced the love from a family, the love from friendship, the love of Christ, I have experienced the Love from my Father in Heaven, I have been in love, been loved by a spouse, and given my love to a spouse, but the love that i want to talk about is compassion love.
I have started my job at the nursing home. It is a very exhausting job, and its most definately hard being the new one on the block. I have always felt a connection to the elderly. I love working with them, I love the stories they share. I love it! When I first started this job I wasn't sure if I liked it. Some of the staff can get really crude, and some aren't very nice. I was even already thinking about other job interview that I could go to because I didn't like it there. But, what changed my mind was this little lady who has the sweetest smile I have ever seen and the most tender spirit I have felt. I tear up just thinking about her. I look forward to going to work just so I can see her smile! It is so worth it working there! I believe that they are all looking for someone to love them and show them love, and I have a lot of love to give! I had given my love to someone but it was rejected. So what better way to use my love right now then to these tender elderly residents! I have so much love to give! And they, need someone there to love them! I may not be the fastest worker, I may be slow at everything, But I am going to spend my time there showing them the love they need, being their friend, and give my all to them. I think that in order for me to heal my heart more, I need to turn my selfishness to love, and give my all to someone else. Its very worth it when you see their smile, or the give you a big hug, or even make you a bead necklace! I love it. And I love them!
